First Day in Hyderabad (Chalo JTO! #2 )

First Day in Hyderabad

I went right away to my cousin’s home. It is in KPHB colony. I got in to a deluxe city service. I think the bus no. was 226. The FM radio was switched on and it was playing some devotional songs. Whatever might be the shit with Hyd buses, you can’t resist getting into them, especially at times when you really need them. After an hour long travel in the not so crowded RTC bus and a share auto, I finally reached my cousin’s home.

I was welcomed by Sravya and Sumedha, my couisins daughters, who were getting ready to go to school. I greeted every one in the house and got refreshed. I started to play with theirs neighbour’s small kid. She was a cute, sweet, talkative gal. On seeing her, I wonder how kids these days are so multi-talented. At an early age, our fathers were far beyond compared to the skills we had and in turn we lag far behind the skills of small kids today.

In the evening we went to Puri Jagannath temple built similar to Puri’s temple located behind Telangana Bhavan. In the return journey, I got a chance to see some of the residences of our beloved silver screen stars. I’ve seen the rescidences of Ballaya Babu, Venki, Suresh Babu, Ramanaidu, Pavan Kalyan, Madhavi, Sri Hari and Chiranjeevi Blood Bank. Returned home. Had dinner followed by a happy sleep. That’s all for today :P

P.S: I was there in Hyd to appear for JTO exam. I did not even carry a single book…to say strictly, not even a single paper. It’s a jolly trip to Hyd after a long time. I went some time way back in my second year holidays.

Intelligent Sardar????

Posted by Sunil Ramavarapu in

We often crack a lot of jokes on Sardars. In these jokes, they (very rare) have a brain that never thinks. They do all sort of funny actions and gives answers one can ever think of it even in dreams. This made Sardarji’s jokes very famous and also fun-filled.

But sometimes, they can also act intelligent. For example, look at this…

Sardar Santa Singhji is the English teacher in a school. He is very well renowned for all his students do very well in exams. The school is having an inspection and the inspector decided to visit the English class. This is what transpires:

Santa Singh: "Bolo bachon GADHA"

Students (in chorus): "GADHA"

Santa Singh: "Bolo bachon! GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE GADHA"

Students (in chorus): "GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE GADHA”

Santa Singh: “Bolo bachon GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE MAI"

Students (in chorus): "GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE

MAI"

Santa Singh: “Bolo bachon GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE MAI AUR MERE PECHE SAARA DESH”

Students (in chorus): "GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE

MAI AUR MERE PECHE SAARA DESH"

By this time the inspector is furious. He confronts the principal and shouts at him

"What is this Santa Singh teaching to students? He is supposed to be taking an

English class and what is he saying…GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE GADHA, and GADHE KE PECHE MAI AUR MERE PECHE SAARA DESH.

The principal too is shocked, Santa Singh, the famous English teacher, doing this. He immediately sends for Santa Singh.

Principal: " Santa Singhji what nonsense are you telling these students. GADHA,

GADHE KE PECHE GADHA, GADHE KE PECHE MAI AUR MERE PECHE SAARA

DESH".

Santa Singh: "Yes I was telling all this in class, but I was only teaching the students the spellings of assassination: - Ass-Ass-I-Nation.

I think one can never write the “Assassination” spelling incorrectly after reading this example. Sometimes, Sardar jokes also involve praising Sardarji’s showing that at least some have brains!!!!

Chalo Hyderabad!!! (Chalo JTO! #1)

Chalo Hyderabad!!!!

“Train No 7015, Bhuvaneshwar to Secunderabad Junction is going to arrive on….” made me come to this world from my never ending thoughts. Revanth (Rev), Sourav (Ghajini) and I were waiting on the platform for Santosh (Pilanco) to arrive. We all are going to Hyderabad to appear for JTO exam. We actually planned a jolly-trip. (Exams may come and go but these memories are always with me).

Pillu arrived exactly 2 min before the train departed from Vizag station. Rev started his unending chatting, most of it being non-sense, to keep all of us engaged. However, Ghajini had his own style of entertaining us. He’s always there to make us giggle at him with his funny expressions and doubts. Of course Rev always teased him. Pillu and I simply watched the fun and encountered them whenever we got a chance.

We played cards for some time and off to our berths for a “peace” and “sound” sleep for about 4 to 5 hrs.

And we were welcomed by Secunderabad by its early morning sun rays striking us from the opened window of our cupey.

We broke at the station. The three fellows stayed in a hotel somewhere near Kairatabad (I think so). I went to my cousin’s home at KPHB Colony. The only thing that I ‘m well used to in Hyderabad is to move from station to my cousins home and from there to all my relatives homes scattered across the twin-cities. I generally travel on typical Hyderabadi buses because the cab or the auto-fare can buy me a ticket back to Vizag (I always felt that these buses should be tied and drowned in Hussain Sagar for their advanced international standards).

“What the f***.The King of POP is no more!!!”

“What the f***.The King of POP is no more!!!”

This was my reaction, on hearing the news that our beloved MJ died today because of cardiac arrest. May his soul rest in peace…

If Pop music is the Life, MJ is the spirit…We love U…Michael…..

Though he may not be here with us physically, but he’s always in our hearts…

Long Live King of Pop!!! U rock!!!

After reading these few lines, you are of the opinion that I’m a die hard fan of MJ. But, the truth is I’m not. Nor do I hate him. I am neutral towards him. But his death has made me write these lines. Yes, I’m sad today. Don’t Why???

I never listened to his pop albums nor did I watch his videos. I think…I‘ve seen his Thriller and History of MJ videos and a making of one of his album (name not known to me!!!). I never really thought of listening to his songs. But his death has moved me. I was dull today.

I read many articles on MJ today on net and then I got to know why people loved him, Why they were so mad about him, Why only him….

The history of MJ has ups that reached Mt. Everest and downs that reached Dead Valley. But what ever has happened to him, he is always to be remembered as King of Pop.

If a person like me who was neutral towards MJ could be moved by his death, then what might be the reaction of the hard-core fans of MJ?????

Yup! The 4 digit figure was finally appearing on the visitors list, which of course is of no interest to me. But one thing which I noticed from the viewers list of my blog is that the people are really interested in knowing about others life. It might give them the “kick” in doing so.

But the only reason why I really like this blog is it is the only place where I can have a chance to express what I feel. I simply write what I get into my mind and heart, the rest of the work carried by my fast moving fingers on the keyboard of my system.

Thanks to Blogger.com for making such an environment. Thanks for making me be me, at least in this virtual world!

Back to Pavilion

Right now, I am in Hyderabad, capital city of AP. The temperature here is so hot and very dry. The 4 days spent here were amazing and fully fun filled. I am going back to Vizag with loads of sweet memories.
Back to pavilion...

The Last Night...

Posted by Sunil Ramavarapu in

There were a few high tides in the sea. We sat on the wet rocks on the sea shore of Teneti Park. The cool breeze from the sea soothed us. And...

" I feel that these 4 years of engineering went on like a few seconds."
" Yup! Me too. Of course this happens to every one. One has to pass through these stages."
"It’s really been a wonderful time to spend in Vizag. I miss this place, this atmosphere."
"Yes. This place is like heaven. But I'm not gona miss this."

We were disturbed by a gang of girls who crossed us to climb the rocks. They were about 5 beautiful girls taking snaps with their digi-cam. They were enjoying themselves.

“I have come to this park 3 or 4 times, but not right here. I think i have missed such scenes in past."
"Whatever! But the gal I told you yesterday on phone was simply superb. She rocked Rushikonda beach like anything. There was not even a single male who couldn't take his eye off her...Beauty in the beach!"
"Hey. I happened to meet a gal on phone from Pune. She was asking me to counsel her bro who got completely drowned in e-biz. I said Ok!"
" Hey! That's cool man. What happened next????"
"I got calls from her for about 3 or 4 days. Every time I used to hang the call, I found myself talking to her the whole night. It was something amazing. It never happened to me before. But this was awesome. After these days of continuous talking, we were now good friends. Wonder! How people get to become friends in such a short time???"
"Don't you remember how we became buddies?"
" The tree". Both of us shouted.
"Yes, the tree! The day the Ad-man Soundar Rajan came..."

We have laughed out loud looking at each other. The aunties who sat a few steps behind wondered why we were laughing like this and gave a weird expression. Of course, they went off after their good looking granddaughter came to them and signaled that its about time to move on.
We sat there on those wet rocks for about 20 min after those aunties left. We did not talk much but enjoyed the high tides coming on to the shore. At times, Satya took out glasses to clean the moisture.

......

Soon we were on the lush green lawn on the top of Tenenti Park. We watched the people roaming here and there.

"I'm feeling uneasy these days. Not knowing what to do...just killing time. Don’t know whether to prepare for DRDO or SAIL or completely concentrate on CAT. This is a hard time to decide."
"Hey! Nothing to worry. Prepare for the exams as of now but also start seriously preparing for CAT. I too need to start preparing for CAT once I am in Hyderabad."
............
We were here, on these beautiful lawns for about 2 hours. The temperature went down and slowly it’s getting cool here. May be, the beach has something to do with this.
We were about to leave from this place. I am not in a mood to move out from this place but the fast track watch of mine reminds me that I 'm running out of time.

"The Last Night...” We said to each other at the same time and smiled at each other.

May be this was the "Last Night!"
The Last night we were being together. The Last night of Satya’s stay in Vizag. The Last night in sharing our 4 years of experiences. The Last Night of our endless chatting. The Last Night we smiled at each other. The Last Night we looked at each other. The Last Night that can ever be lost from our hearts.

The Last Night....

Celebrate Life...New look...

The New look of my blog...
I felt that my earlier blog template was also one of the reasons for making me too lazy to post. I never really tried to change the look. I used to open my blog only to find it dull and uninteresting for me to post something. So I concentrated to change the template and here it is..with a refreshing look and the wonderful music playing at the back to make me relax and post what i exactly wanted to.
Hope i keep posting frequently and make my resolution of this year alive :P

NOT AGAIN!!!!!

Posted by Sunil Ramavarapu in

After a long time...a friend of mine asked me about my blog, making me remember that I had one!!! Yes, its really embarrassing that I keep on posting "I'll definitely post frequently", but i frequently end up writing these kind of "excusing posts".But this time, my life is like an Eskimo in the desert (I knew..its too much comparison!). But now a days because of my "freeeeee" time to write about my experiences in this year which were worth documented here (at least someone reads it by mistake to make me remember that I had blog!).
